can i ask when and where is al-hafla? it occurs to me philly's about two hours away and i'd like to get down there again...

January 20-21 in Clifton Heights, PA. Media Inn, 10 minutes away, was $69 a night, a very nice price and not a bad place to stay. It's kind of old school, but charming in it's rural PA sort of way.

Usually Friday is very low key - musicians get together to warm up. Last year

suba_al_hadid organized an outing to a fabulous Middle Eastern restaraunt with yummy male and female live dancers. Who we guerrilla suprised by getting up en masse to dance with them when beckoned. :)

I think we can arrange liftage on this end. At the very least I can guarantee a ride to and from Casablanca, and I can probably find you rides to and from the airport too.

The Kareoke post-revel is on again too! My DJ friend is looking forward to it, and so is the bar manager.
