Monday, Monday
May. 2nd, 2005 02:43 pmNot a awful Monday... a work day, like most.
Had a nice weekend:
- late dinner Friday with
new_man,
mermaidlady and
rufinia
- cleaned house Saturday
- had visit + dinner with the Mom and the Bob (the Mom's husband)
- thus why the cleaning
- birthday was celebrated, as I'll be in London for the actual day
- went to
mermaidlady's house for choli fitting. It really was choli fitting, no matter what
new_man thinks. Choli Mock 1 - too small, extending it by abou 1/2 inch all round and trying again.
- went to May Day on Sunday.
Things I particularly liked:
- laughing with my Mom, & Bob at dinner. It didn't feel strained this time - everyone was on board for the joking. That's unusual. Bob's and my senses of humor don't often gel.
- seeing the Northern Gang - Anastasia, Mylissant, Aldrich, Svava, Thorson - being rather toasty has meant not getting to see them during the reign, as I didn't want to be around and NOT help. Was nice to be just folks, just hanging out.
- dancing at May Day. I like Rennaissance Dance. Not enough to go to practice, but enough to enjoy being asked and taking part.
Realized this weekend that Pennsic is poised to approach at high velocity. This is because I will be on travel for 50% of the next 2.5 months:
- Wed-Tues this week = London (yay!)
- Week after that = Arizona
- Two weeks home
- 2.5 weeks Pennsylvania
- 1 week home (maybe more)
- 2.5 weeks Denver
The good news - then this awful project is done. The bad news - this shoots war season in the foot in a major, major way. And it means that I cannot procrastinate on the dancing project - I have my ringers (bwah ha ha) - it's time to schedule for the times I *am* home, so that they are improving themselves when I'm NOT home. I'm glad I've got good folks for this.

Date: 2005-05-03 07:44 pm (UTC)Oh, right... for actual babies? Might not be too hard... I have a choli for a small pig. Horatio Q. Pigg is baby-sized (don't tell him, though) and similarly non-mobile. Having no boobs makes the whole operation simpler.
