The trim is here! Wohoo!
And all is accounted for!
Of note - there are some things packaged in a not-as-expected manner:
- frogs for Safiya - we have 9 bags of 12 frogs each, not 3 bags of 36 frogs - same difference, really
- grosgrain ribbon for Bhairavi - came in 2 spools of 25 yards each, rather than 1 spool of 100 yards each
- jaquard ribbon for Lady Cassia - 2 spools of 16.4 meters, not 1 spool of 32 meters.
In all cases, everyone got the same quanitity, just slightly different packaging. Hopefully that doesn't screw up anyone's pattern.
We likes the trim, my precious, we does sooooo like the shiny trim.

Date: 2005-12-23 12:13 am (UTC)May I inquire as to where you purchased these trims? I am ever so curious now.
I have 700 yards of fabric in my SCA fabric stash but alas no trim to keep it company.

P.S. Are you still thinking about coming to visit the fair Outlands for THL Meenakshi's Laurel Ceremony?

Date: 2005-12-23 02:31 pm (UTC)The store was www.cheeptrims.com - a few pages back in the journal is our order inventory. They require $65 for a purchase, which works fine sometimes, but I started out just wanting a $13 spool of black sequins... $180 later we had no problem meeting the minimum. :)
I use them most for modern costuming stuff, but they do have SCA-compatible stuff, depending on what you're making...
