Saga continues
Apr. 22nd, 2005 09:48 amAfter poking online, I finally called my docter's office, as I found the need for an up to date prescription would be just as true online as with my doctor. Turns out I'm *2* years out of date... apparently my last exam was January 2003!!
But the gods are on my side. I sneaked into a cancellation for Monday. Since I need toric lenses, it may be a week before they are in... this is cutting awful close to the London trip, but what can you do? I don't want to buy a year's worth of lenses and find out I need a new prescription. But the nice lady at my doctor's is going to try to work some magic mojo to get it in as early as possible. Whining about now wanting to wear glasses in London works WONDERS, it seems.

Date: 2005-04-22 02:39 pm (UTC)The other day one of my eyes was really sore and I became paranoid about having an eye infection (again). I so did not want to blow my opportunity for looking at the Eape by having to do it through glasses. Fortunately, the soreness has subsided. I think it was a touch of pollen allergy.
Good luck with getting the lenses in time. Mine came really quick last time I ordered some, but they're standard soft disposables.
