Awash in do-goody ness

- Work paper - the meat is done - finish intro this afternoon and then off it goes to Peer Review. Phew.

- WPI application - I give up, I can't hand deliver it and see my advisor this week. It's printed and in an envelope awaiting me getting a stamp.

- Flight to Ft. Lauderdale - I am penalized for waiting - nearly $500 for Turkey Day tickets. But... I get to see my dad - yay! Boy, am I rusty at ordering plane tickets - my secretary does it for my travel, mermaidlady and new_man did the booking for London... so although I've traveled alot, I couldn't remember my Orbitz password! or my Delta #... or the password to the work travel system (which has my Delta number in it...). This may be the first time I've felt (even slightly) like a pointy haired boss.

Reveling in my accomplishments, I now go to chase down lunch that appeals to my sore throat. Nothing worse... just the throat. OD'ing on Vitamin C seems to forestall anything else. 4 tablets + 1 Emergen-C a day...

OD'ing on vitamin C is a very good thing. Turns out it bind with histamines, so it gives all the benefits of an antihistamine without the side effects. So it doesn't exactly cure the cold, but it does make the symptoms a heck of a lot more manageable.

Congrats on all our accomplishments! I am in awe. I loved the review - I *still* wish I could see one of the Baby Dolls shows.

Well... that either requires you hustiling up to Boston, or helping us find a venue to play at which is near you. I'm not proud; I'll take all the leads I can get.

Alas - I am swamped with enough projects already that I can neither take on another one, nor make a road trip. For the moment I will merely admire from afar.
