Still alive

Baby Dolls @ Axis was pretty nifty. Really like new DJ, he is one "hep cat". ;) Thought performers did great all around, particularly as the 10:00 and 11:00 crowds were not the warm, fuzzy cheering masses we had last month. :(
Wish us luck! We go to do our first night of Out For Blood tonight. Everyone is run down and tired, many of us are sick. It must be theater! :) Can't remember ever doing a major show healthy.
"help me Mary K, you're my only hope!" I fucked up my skin with the professional makeup something awful Wed. night - I used good makeup remover, but with scratchy paper products, so my eyes looked like I just had a major allergy attack Thursday morning, as the skin was all sorts of damaged and sore to the touch. I had no choice but to makeup again last night - the Axis show is under serious lighting. But this time I got smart - no paper products touched my skin. I poured warm water on my face, lathered up some Mary K skin cleanser, and spread it all around. I gave myself horrible racoon eyes, but damned if two splashes of water didn't get it all off. Rinsed real well, touching my face only gently with my hands and patted dry with towel. The skin is still dry and crackly, but the damage is fading and further damage was prevented while all makeup was removed. A little moisturizer (also Mary K) helped alot, too.
Must somehow get more Mary K cleanser and moisturizer from
tpau. I'm pretty much out... not sure exactly when that will happen, but given the current experience it MUST happen, and soon.
