Cute Pants Quest, Part II:
Having given up on Atrium, and feeling dubious about Chestnut Hill (being just across the street), I decided to try the cheap & local solution - Filene's Basement - for trying, again, to get some cute, weekend-friendly pants.
Not only do they have a fair share of size 16s, but I turns out I actually fit a 14, which they have even more of. AND, I managed:
- 2 pairs of DKNY jeans
- 2 snazzy belts
- 3 pairs of Halloween socks
For $85 - the price of the cheapest of the jeans in the Atrium Mall.
Then I went across the street, grabbed some quick & yummy soup from the Soup Factory and came back to work - in an hour!
Bite me Atrium Mall. I doubt I'll be tempted to return.

Date: 2005-09-27 06:09 pm (UTC)There are three good things in the Atrium Mall: Borders Books, Cheesecake Factory, and the pho place. Other than those, no reason to return!
