Having a Laurel Moment

First: - a book I have been looking for FOREVER just came my way at a time when I could manage to snag it:

I've seen these run up into multiple hundred of dollars - and while this wasn't cheap, it was doable. It's a great collection of the textiles I've studied and tried to reproduce. I feel a bit of guilty pleasure, since I'm not so active with fabric making these days, but I hope at some point I'll get back to it and this book could be tremendous.
Also - I was helping a young lady with a performance in Trimaran and she just wrote me to say she won! The Trimaran Indians are really kicking ass this year. Madhavi is sitting Vigil for her Laurel (Easterners - don't freak, Trimaran is a heads-up kingdom! she knows!), Lalitha kicked ass at a Persona presentation in the fall, and now Aibhilin's won a major Trimaran award! Go Trimaran Indians!
