Wednesday cometh

Another day closer to Baby Doll Dress Rehearsal...

Last night:
- had class with Aparna - last one before she leaves for India... again. She crammed me with knowledge.
- screwed up and failed to pick up Satan's head from new_man as I went to write down choreography. I think I got it all so I can practice while she's gone.
- Aparna recommended a yoga studio for me, she thinks it would help me push my body towards greater ability to do Bharata Natyam. Will figure it out after show.
- Came home, tested prof's code. He fixed current bug. But I found a new one to keep him off the streets. He's getting fearful of what the poor undergrads had to do last term to get the thing to work... This one was nasty - his new use of threading clobbered the switching of process contexts, by throwing an interrupt just as the hardware was switching contexts. In non-geek - it's like he stepped on his own foot while wearing a stiletto heel. Ouch!
- To keep me out of his hair, he's suggesting I use a debugger. He's right - it would make life easier. I've just never developed an affinity for debuggers. I found that they interfered mightily with threading, so I prefer print statements. But he's right - there's some things you can't find and fix with printstatements. But they sure make mailing stuff to your professor easier! :) Maybe that's why he wants me to use a debugger...
- Sewed another Demonic Pasty. I'm like the Dunkin' Doughnuts guy now... gotta make the pasty... gotta make the pasty...
- Cut out the other 6 pasties. Had a small snafu - had pressed them between two peices of cardboard for glue to dry. Cardboard bits stuck to front of pasty. Managed to peel enough off to get 6 pasties out of the mess. But glad I had plenty of extra.
- this morning ran Mummy peice and finale - I think I may have key - no leg wraps for Mummy peice. If new_man feels leg wraps are visually pleasing, then I will wear them, but not remove them. Revamped upper wrapping to be more horizontal... AND made a little over booby extra wrap, in case I'm not sufficiently horizontal. Finale shaping up great.

I notice a bummer - with Burlesque dance I have time to EITHER rehearse OR get my heart rate up and excerise. I can't do both at once. The dance pieces are not strenuous enough to get me really moving. And the reset takes too long to do a 5 minute run and then 25 minutes of exercise. Oh well... right now rehearsal is more important than the size of my butt. At least I can use this time as a place holder to be replaced with an actual workout later.

Took shower. First hair wash since cut. Hair still pretty without magic of hair styling - yay!
