Boring conference calls
May. 25th, 2005 10:16 am...let me randomly post in LJ. :)
I'm sitting on the Endless Telecon, a Wednesday phenomena wherein I sit (on mute) listening to all the customer sites I may eventually support with my product, while they figure out weekly tech business. Would not be so bad, but they have a lot of problems and a lot of dicussion. It has, more than once, gone as long as 2.5 hours. I can't do anything too thinky, as it distracts me and I miss important stuff.
Let's see, last night, another kinda late night...
- did almost all of Finite Automata (CS503) homework. Class was frustrating, but I'm enjoying the homework despite myself. It's logic and math oriented, and nearly as fun as doing a logic puzzle.
- Kirsten, the new roomie, came over and has started settling in. She's set up the room and is unpacking. Procrastinated with her for a bit. She was still going at 1:00 when I went to sleep, but I was so tired, it didn't keep me awake at all...
- had coffee. Feelin' perky!!
