FYI, there's a proposal going at the Stack Exchange that I rather like:

and figured others who read this might, too.
I happen to really like the Stack Exchange Q&A user interface and have really enjoyed a couple other forums of theirs. I can definitely recommend it, and it would be neat to see a hobby thing like this get off the ground.
