By request - this is Amma... and the jewelery store guys at the first jewelry store we purchased from. She's a powerful negotiator - she was charming the pants of the jewelry store guys while still driving a good bargain. The guys to either side of her are the jewelry store guys.

For the record, Amma is actually named Dr. Srivalli. She's a published author, and I believe her doctorate is in Kannada literature. She's one smart lady!

And that's just the front window! I regret I never snapped a picture of the back of the room, where a huge display of god/theater jewelry was up - it was wall to wall sparkly stones with giant headpeices, necklaces and a terrific number of shiny things I'm not quite sure what to do with.
