How evil are you?

Umm... wow. I wasn't really trying for pure evil, and it was that I fantasize about glamour more than sex that put this over the edge. But I'm sure I got a nice solid footing in evil by saying I use IE as a browser. Geez, I can't help that - my company doesn't let me install other stuff...



Outlook on life is a lot better today. Had a nice dinner at Masala Art, hung out with new_man who introduced me to American Gothic, a TV show that affected his psyche for 10 years, which was just released on DVD. It's pretty darn good, with terribly creepy storytelling, although there's some interesting anachronisms - like the huge size of cell phones, and a few special effects that seem a little weird in our very incredible CGI mediaverse. But that really didn't impact the absolute creepiness.

Wrapped a few gifts, cleaned the house a bit. A wonderful low-key evening, followed by 7.5 hours of sleep - I obeyed new_man's command and went to bed right after he left (see? once and a while, I am a good monkey!). Woke up, wishing for some more quality time with my mattress and down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets, but not desperate for it. Had some time to do Baby Dolls dancing and Bharata Natyam dancing. Not a lot of either, but enough.

For the Baby Dolls, it looks like a solo from me is back on the map. For a while, we had an overabundance of riches, and I was not going to do a second peice... but now I am, and I think it's gonna be Russian. Scratch found me 6 Russian selections, but I think I'm gonna go with #4 of six - a brass band version of Midnight in Russia, which is cute as a button. There is a distinct wintry advantage to starting off with lots of warm clothes on... starting in next to nothing for the reverse strip last month was damn nippy! It may be hard to be Russian and cute as a button, but I'm gonna try it. The peice will likely involve a sword, used mostly like a cane, but with a bit of deadly steel thrown in. A big furry hat and a cossak coat, courtesy of his Russianness. Fur trimmed boots and gloves maybe. And I need to figure out what is sexy, and Russian, and flattering for a dress. I could folksy or glamourous... and of course low-effort is a big win, too... hmm... pasties? Well red ones would be OK... all-fur ones would be a bit genetic-mutation looking... quilted on cut felt would be a bit labor intensive...

Mr. Sword does not want to balance on my head. I don't get it, it balanced like it was glued on over the summer, but today it tried to kill me, repeatedly. Grrr.... perhaps my balance is just *off* today.

Pushpanjali practice was good - just did everything slow, with focus on head while not screwing up arms and feet. May practice just head and arms before belly dance class tonight. Or maybe just head/torso/eye stuff.. I'll look a little nutty, but how is that different than normal? :)

Got myself some tasty Timor coffee and hustled in to a slow day of work.
