There's a Peace meme going around, as this is the anniversary of John Lennon's death and the world certainly could use more peace.

I'm not a big John Lennon fan, but I agree that the world sure as hell can use some peace. Not just for Christmas, but all year round.

Just sayin'.

And saying (by example) that I agree with the sentiment that expressing - online and in the real world - the need for peace and the end of the current stupid war is a good thing. Whether or not you find John Lennon's songs particularly moving.

Oh it's nice to know I'm not the only one! I don't mind some John Lennon songs, but there are some I could do without. I never understood the allure of The Beatles, either.

Peace is a good message, though, and worth remembering at any excuse.
