Working at home
Apr. 26th, 2005 09:33 amSo... I'm home at the moment, typing away in my crowded computer/sewing room. Enjoying:
- a window with sunlight
- not wearing shoes
Waiting for my plumber to come and fix my valve. Sigh.
Another quiet day yesterday. Had eye dr. appointment - eyes are as happy as ever. Broke my testbed (in a good way) and complained to my vendor. Came home and watched West Wing DVDs and painted more cards. Would you believe that it takes more effort to paint the higher value cards. 5, 6, and 7 take much more time than 1, 2, 3 and 4! Who knew? OK, yeah, I should have known, but I didn't think about that...
Hooked up my pretty, shiny, new phone system. It's a neato phone, answering machine, second handset set up that gives me two phone pickup points but only connects to a wall once. And has all sorts of neato features, like remote message pickup, ringtones, specialized ringtones, 3-way calling, hold, and a bunch more... It's gonna take me a while to learn it all, but it makes the $90 for the package seem very worth while.
