Had a luxurious but dutiful night last night:
- went to Centre St. Cafe - one of my favorite restaraunts, friendly service (at this point, I know the owner and am on a chatty basis with the regular staff), yummy food, and they know what to do with a vegetable to make it tasty. They can be a bit pricey ($10-25 for a dinner plate), and the regular menus is not large, but they mix is up every 6 months and they have great specials. Was especially happy that maple-chipotle chicken livers are back - yum! They also have maple-chipolte salmon on the regular menu, so I suppose you could go nutty with it. :) Had the liver and a bok-choy & cabbage hot salad.

- Spent the night home reading my textbook in preparation for the midterm. I really need to read the most recent chapters, as this is hard stuff. Need it done before the weekend, so I can spend the weekend making my crib sheet. We're allowed one double sided page, and it's a timed test. This is actually very odd for WPI grad school. Out of 11 courses, this is the very first timed, in class, non-open book midterm. It's a bit tricky, remembering how to prep for something where I can't just open the book.

- Did some laundry. The underwear crisis, while not averted, is under a disaster relief plan, at least. The Baby Doll production resulted in a dearth of laundry doing, that is now being remedied. Will have clean undies for oral surgeon tomorrow.

Wish me luck, gang, I'm going back to the oral surgeon tomorrow - at 10:00 - to get the implant done. I chose anasthesia again, I'm a wuss. This'll be it, though. In the early spring they'll put in a post, and then a crown, but this is the last fairly scary (to me) procedure - putting in the fake root system (metal bits) for the implant. Then we let the bone grow onto it for another six months.

Another good doo bee day of working out this morning:
- Tattu Adavu - done with steps in between to make me face the 8 directions (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) for the 8 sets of Tattu Adavu steps.
- Nattu Adavu - reviewed some of the less clean steps from yesterday, finished up Set #2.
- Mettu Adavu - did 1/2 the simple mettu stuff.

Nothing too hard, about 20 minutes of fast heart rate accomplished.
