The happy exhaustion of DONE.

Well... homework isn't done, enough, I got the bare minimum done, but didn't have much concentration to spare. I think I needed a break. And.. the prof mailed me today with things he things are problems in my code - and one of them is (IMO) a classic problem with his code... so that's upsetting.

But - Baby Doll tasks are DONE. Obviously the show isn't done, but the prep-work is on target, and all the making of stuff is done. Now it's time to work the stage, learn the space, and make changes when people + space + lighting + sound + Scratch (the director/manager/producer) are all blended together. The list of done is:

HELL:
- demonic underthings - DONE - everyone now has spiffy silk scrap covered bras and panties
- demonic pasties - DONE - everyone now has sequined pasties
- dresses - purchases. Hopefully Vicki will have Velcro in hers - mine seems to be working OK, so I'm holding off on the Velcroization.
- shoes - procured
- all props assembled and prepped.

REMINDER - hot glue for pearls.

You're the Boss:
- Satan's head - done
- attaching head to arm - done and tested, with something easier than an Ace Bandage
- glove for His Evilness found - even better, the small white gloves are hand independant - so I don't have to put aside the right hand glove, I have a spare!
- Satan's cloak/robe - done - may need the hem raised. We'll see it in the space.
- dress - done
- pasties and undies - done - oh they are so cute!
- new shoes found
- thigh highs found (also adorable)

Finale - all costuming assembled - bra, pasties, undies, skirt and blouse, demonic eskimo hood

Mummy peice - undies done, wrappings done, wig sucks, so using own hair. No jewelry found. Poop. But at least this is not for Out for Blood - just Axis. Good. It's gotten the least love and attention.

Did rehearsal Sunday night

Ran the pieces for Scratch. It appears that Scrath has no major issues with any of them. He rightfully pointed out that my two fellow demonesses need to be more cartoony. Vicki was having a really bad weekend. I hope she gets her headspace together before the show.

HJ is in bad shape. Her voice sounds awful and she looks like death warmed over. What a change from the perky girl she was a month ago. We're all a little worse for wear, I think. I'm tired. Jez is somewhere between wiped out and sick - I'm crossing fingers on just "wiped out". Vicki is sick. And Jax, Julie, and Dinah all looked the worse for wear, too. Don't know them well enough to know if they were sick. That's most of the cast - but for Alethea and Morgan. Oy. Let us all get better before Thursday frenzy.

On the upside, I know I will feel better. I've put in some really late nights, and pushed pretty hard. But the stuff-making is done, and my dancing is still good - the biggest asset to my performance now will be really learning my space and practice, practice, practice. Thankfully - that's exactly what the schedule says I will be doing - tech starts tonight - with as much rehearsal as I can get in. Dress with stops tomorrow. Dress with no stops the night after.

Last night, I slept the sleep of the exhausted and relieved. I haven't always had a good night's sleep - lately, even when I lied down, my heart would be racing and it would be hard to settle down. Not last night. Oh boy. Pasties were finished, and *plunk* out like a light.

Now I go to Waltham to get mee-self some stage makeup. Praying they have someone with a clue on their staff, as I could really use a bit of a refresher.
