Sep. 30th, 2005 12:26 pmVerizon, despite having told me other wise months ago, has decided to apply a cancellation charge to my account because I was ONE day late in cancelling my trial service.
Not only that, but they referred my account to a credit agency without ever sending me an itemized bill. I've been waiting for one for months, and only found out how much I owed from the credit agency - who clearly managed to find my address OK.
I've already launched a complaint with Verizon, and will be contacting the better business bureau, but I strongly suggest reconsidering your plan if you use Verizon, and highly recommend not switching to them in the future.
