Pennsic Schedule

OK... here goes.   I must qualify this insanity with the thought that about 2/3 of these gigs are "someone is waiting for me to do something" so some of them are "want-tos" not "must-dos", which I can punt if the people who love me need me to be somewhere else.

If not listed, haflas begin at o'dark thiry - ie, whenever drummers get there.  When do I get there? you ask.  When I am (a) done with camp chores (I try to do dishes several times), (b) free of any Pennsic malaise (headaches and grumpy require naps to cure), (c) fully shiny (being this fabulous takes a little time, ya know?).  If you want to attend a halfa with me, you need to come by and poke me.  I may simply be dawdling.  Other things are more finite.
Also... somewhere in here, I want to do a major shopping run with any who will go with me, and I really want to hit Enchanted Ground with Anne and Yevsha and Morwenna (experienced enchanters all).  I may just bag a hafla to do that...

8/9 - Orluk Hafla - I arrive that day or the day after, so hafla may be sadly punted due to set up needs or the fact that I'm still driving to Pennsic.  Sigh.  This is a favorite of mine, but sanity trumps all.
8/10 - help set up camp
8/11 - help set up camp
8/12 - OChoda Halfa - also a great one, OChoda runs a great camp.
8/13 - Camp Traipse?  Pre party tea at Little India, near OChoda, OChoda Bardic, Carolingian Welcome Party.
8/14 - 10:30-11:00 - Maunche Meeting at EK Royal - 3:00 PM - Perform at Inner Vagabond Coffee Shop - minimum time 1/2 hour, maybe more
- 7:30 PM - Student/Teacher commitment ceremony with Padme at VDK - aiming at 1 hour long
- 9:00 PM - iSebastiani - the greatest commedia del'arte troupe in the entire world! - on the Pennsic stage
8/15 - 10-11AM - Energetic Indian Dance Class - I'm teaching!
- hmm... maybe a little sanity here?  introduce myself to new_man who hasn't seen me for three days? "Hi Yevsha!  I'm Lakshmi!  I'm your other girlfriend!"
8/16 - 10-11AM - Energetic Indian Dance Class - I'm teaching!
- 1:00-4:00PM - Middle Eastern Dance Expo - to do or not to do... that is the question.  Has a lot to do with how sucky Pushpanjali is, ahhh... to have a reliable suck-o-meter.
- evening - Bi-Sexual and Lesbian Ladies' Tea - our troupe are repeat performers, now - we have a whole spiffy 2-set gig for them!  If you are not a Bisexual/Lesbian lady... go find one and make her bring you with her so you can see the show. :)  It's in the B-Blocks at the bottom of the hill.
8/17 - 10-11AM - Energetic Indian Dance Class - I'm teaching!
- East Kingdom Court
- Midnight Madness
8/18 - 10-11AM - Energetic Indian Dance Class - I'm teaching!
- 7:30 - 9:00 PM - Desert Moon Dancers at the Performing Arts Tent - we are friends with Mistress Su'ad's troupe and will be doing a ~20 minute guest spot with them.
- Hoity-Toity Party?  It's usually this time.  Depends on energy level.
8/19 - 10-11AM - Energetic Indian Dance Class - I'm teaching!
- Outlands Royal Hafla - I have been asked to do a peice there, and my friend Meenakshi (the other 6' tall, sarcastic, psycho-intellegent Indian geek chick) is doing a peice I really want to see.  Plus Outlands gets the coolest performers!  Tinkers, Volgemut, poi dancers, etc.
