Passing it on
Jul. 21st, 2005 02:27 pmPosted in a friend's LJ - Johnson and Johnson is getting flak for an ad they posted in a gay magazine:

Which actually gave *me* a chuckle.

J & J has a customer hotline - the number to call is 1-800-962-5357, option 5. And those of us that liked the ad, or at least thought it was not offensive (esp. for a gay magazine - the Advocate) - are calling in to lend some support.
I just did so - took 5 minutes. And they WERE extremely glad to hear from someone who isn't yelling at them. The lady asked me where I heard of it, and told me she'd note down my positive response. Couldn't tell whether they've had more positive feedback or negative feedback, but at least
As a customer support lady, the woman was mostly, I think, glad to talk someone who wasn't yelling at her.
So... I highly recommend it. If nothing else, you'll feel like a hero for calling in and saying something positive for something you'll believe in. You don't get that kind of perk all the time.
