bethlakshmiFINALLY! After scheduling challenges, loosing a lodge, snow, and god knows what - we finally got to dance for the Masons!
We love Masons. Masons love us. It's a very symbiotic mutual appreciation society. As per usual, our show was fabulous. It's easy when the audience knows you'll be good right off the bat. I did an improv solo to Der Bausch and then Ghawazii, Tribal, and Road Show with the troupe. Boy! Was I daunted when I found out there was a man who seemed able to speak an Arabic language there! My pronounciation in the Road Show could still use some help, and I didn't want to embarass myself. But he left singing and humming merrily with a grin and a thumbs up for me, so I guess I didn't suck too bad. :)
This space was not as faboo as the usual space this gang uses. No stage. But we made do, and the show was a heck of a lot of fun.
