It never rains but it...
May. 24th, 2005 09:41 pm..ahh my family is being, well, my family. We can't seem to do stress in a small way. I get a bit stressed, and then the family joins in.
Mom - sane, stable, happily married. But her company just lost a major patent lawsuit to the tune of way more than the value of the company. So, to say she's nervous is an understatement. Thank god for her sane, loving, stable, retired husband. She seems much less stressed than other job-iffy situations, I think he may be the reason.
Dad - not sane, not so stable, wishes to be happily married. Just broke up with a online boyfriend, due to a 3rd friend being a jerk while drunk. Not sure on details, just sure the Dad is morose. This isn't so odd, but there was a REALLY, REALLY sad tone in his voice.
How do two people who have been divorced for over 10 years manage to stay so stressmodically in tune?
Yes, I just made up a word. :P
